What dosage is best for you?

The best way to figure out what works is to experiment, tweak and sense what feels best. It is important to take into consideration your weight, age, metabolism and the symptom you wish to treat. When I first started, I kept a journal and wrote how the different doses affected me and I can only recommend you to do the same. I use CBD oil mainly for anxiety, when I have a hard time sleeping, or for the occasional joint pain I get.


Below is an indicative table of the amount of dosage according to your weight:

Weight Group Recommended Dosage for Mild Effects Recommended Dosage for Moderate Effects Recommended Dosage for Strong Effects
Light (less than  58 kg) 11 mg or less 12 mg to 14 mg 15 mg to 17 mg
Medium (58kg to 100kg) 18 mg or less 19 mg to 23 mg 24 mg to 27 mg
Heavy (more than 100 kg) 23 mg or less 24 mg to 30 mg 31 mg to 45 mg


And another according to the pain you may feel:

Weight Group
Pain < 68 Kg 68 kg to 100kg > 100kg
None – Mild 9 – 12 mg 12 – 18 mg 22.5 mg
Medium 12 – 15 mg 15 – 22.5 mg 30 mg
Severe 15 -18 mg 27 – 45 mg 45 mg


As you begin your CBD journey and your path to wellness, these tables can be very helpful and could help you get better results. I also tend to think it’s better to start small and to work your way up to avoid any bad effects.
