Which is why I was all the more surprised when I started to research the topic further. And now all I\u2019m left wondering is why I didn\u2019t look into this concept sooner.<\/p>\n

If you too are a complete coffee-addict like me, or get through the day with teas alone, then take a seat and get ready to learn something new: because this article will give you insights that might completely change your day-to-day routine.<\/p>\n

CBD and coffee \u2014 and what\u2019s this CBD thing again?<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Before we turn to CBD coffee and tea<\/strong>, let\u2019s have a look at what exactly CBD constitutes<\/strong>. CBD stands for cannabidiol<\/a>, which is one of around 100 different cannabinoids that exist in the hemp plant. THC, which has a psychoactive<\/strong> effect and creates a so-called \u201chigh\u201d is also a cannabinoid.<\/p>\n

CBD on the other hand does not have an intoxicating effect but a host of other benefits: it can boost your mood, is an antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, reduces pain and can even have anti-depressant effects depending on how it\u2019s used. There are a lot of studies around this all-round talent, and its healing effects<\/strong> are becoming more widely known all around the world.<\/p>\n

Just as with all other CBD products<\/a>, CBD coffee and tea are subject to the regulation in Germany that a THC content of maximum 0.2%<\/a> is allowed.<\/p>\n

Before I tell you more about the wide spectrum of CBD coffee, we\u2019ll take a closer look at hemp and CBD and the question whether these two products are the same thing. The answer to this question is a resounding yes! Both tea types are made from industrial hemp<\/a>, which has no THC but does include CBD in different strengths since every flower is different. The main difference is that some CBD teas have added CBD extract<\/a> in them, which increases the CBD content of the drink.<\/p>\n

So far, so good. But why should you change your tea-drinking habits to this one, and how can it increase your quality of life? Aside from its aromatic, clear bouquet with a herbal flavour, CBD has a host of other exciting health benefits<\/strong>. For example, it\u2019s proven to promote a positive disposition, and reduced stress<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

People who have occasional digestive problems can also look forward to its healing effects<\/strong> to the digestive system, and a more relaxed stomach and gut, even after a wild night that leads to a hangover the next morning.<\/p>\n

Still not enough? You might also consider its anti-infectious properties<\/strong>, that can also help soothe any irritations. All in all, hemp and CBD teas<\/strong> are an all-rounder. Now, of course, there are also people out there that prefer coffee for kicking off their day or getting through the afternoon slump. Don\u2019t worry, folks, we\u2019ve got something for you as well.<\/p>\n

Let\u2019s start with a small intro to the hot cup of joy itself. Caffeine<\/strong>, which is contained in coffee, makes us alert and awake, and is actually a psychoactive substance. Some studies show that both substances work in similar way<\/strong>s since their structural foundation is closely related, making them more slowly absorbable by the liver. Both substances need the same enzyme<\/strong> to be properly disintegrated, so it takes longer for this to happen. Hence: longer coffee-enjoyment for everyone!<\/p>\n

CBD <\/strong>coffee: making the substance even easier for the body to absorb<\/strong><\/h4>\n

If you\u2019ve just discovered the idea of CBD coffee<\/strong> and are keen to try it, you can simply add some to your favourite CBD Oil<\/a>, but make sure to add a small amount of butter or coconut oil to achieve the full effect.<\/p>\n

This may sound a bit strange at first, but it really makes all the difference \u2014 CBD is fat-soluble and combines with the coffee better this way than if it\u2019s merely dropped in and floats to the coffee\u2019s surface.<\/p>\n

And in terms of taste<\/strong>, this won\u2019t impact your delicious brew. In fact, you could even consider it a speedy breakfast this way for when you\u2019re in a rush.
