Il CBG \u00e8 responsabile dello <strong>sviluppo del CBD<\/strong> e del THC inebriante. Tuttavia, nella maggior parte delle variet\u00e0 di cannabis vi \u00e8 solo una <strong>ridotta concentrazione di CBG<\/strong> (&lt;1%).<\/p>\n<p>Nel caso del CBG si tratta di un fitocannabinoide: tale molecola non pu\u00f2 essere prodotta come gli <strong>endocannabinoidi dal corpo<\/strong> umano. Come il CBD, anche il cannabigerolo \u00e8 un cannabinoide non inebriante, per cui non stordisce. Contrariamente al CBD, finora il cannabigerolo non ha giocato alcun <strong>ruolo importante<\/strong>, perch\u00e9 non \u00e8 stato debitamente considerato questo collegamento con la <strong>ridotta concentrazione<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Alcuni ricercatori dell\u2019<em>Universit\u00e0 di Reading<\/em> hanno constatato, conducendo due studi sui ratti, che l\u2019<strong>effetto del CBG<\/strong> aumenta l\u2019appetito. Altri studi fanno presupporre che il CBG possa ostacolare la crescita di alcuni tipi di tumore. Proprio come per il CBD, in un esperimento del <em>Dipartimento di Farmacia<\/em> presso l\u2019Universit\u00e0 di Napoli \u00e8 stato indagato l\u2019effetto del CBG sulle patologie intestinali.<\/p>\n<p>In questo caso \u00e8 stato constatato che il CBG, come anche il CBD, ha <strong>propriet\u00e0 antinfiammatorie<\/strong>. Allo stesso modo l\u2019effetto del CBG sulla trasmissione neuronale GABA nel cervello pu\u00f2 inibire i recettori <strong>responsabili del dolore<\/strong>. In alcuni casi il CBG potrebbe agire come il noto CBD.
