What is Haze?
For CBD fans, the world is not just green. Over 18,500 cannabis strains are known worldwide, providing a diverse base for enjoyment and users. One of the most well-known and popular strains is Haze. Why, you ask? The answer probably lies in its high THC content.
The original Haze has its roots in the US state of California. According to legend, it can be traced back to the Haze brothers, R. Haze and J. Haze. They are said to have crossed a pure sativa strain from Mexico with a Colombian cannabis strain in the 1960s and 1970s. They then crossed the female plants that resulted from this fusion with a male landrace from Thailand. And voilà: a cannabis strain was created that today makes all cannabis enthusiasts go crazy with excitement.
Getting original Haze in its purest form is almost an impossibility today. Mostly, hybrid varieties are offered, which are composed of Sativa and Indica. The sativa portion is always dominant. The advantage of Haze: The effect is primarily cerebral and has little influence on the physical condition. Therefore, there is no need to worry about listless loitering.
While Haze is a real joy for cannabisseurs, it poses some major challenges to growers. This is because growing the popular cannabis strain is by no means easy. Compared to other strains, Haze flowers take an above-average amount of time. The growing period can be up to 16 weeks. In addition, a high ambient temperature is necessary to be able to harvest high-yielding crops. If the plant feels comfortable, it grows enormously high and forms green buds with orange hairs in addition to long, thin leaves.
Of course, not only popular Haze varieties like Super Lemon Haze, Amnesia Haze or Haze Berry can be obtained from the plants. For all CBD fans among you, we have created our strong CBD variety, Alien Haze. With 5-7%, this one has plenty of CBD power to offer!
And of course, you don’t have to compromise on aroma with CBD Haze strains. On the contrary! CBD Haze comes with all the flavors that can also be found in its THC-containing sister. Bull’s eye!
