CBD Wax: Vape or Dab it, Baby?

You are enthusiastic about CBD flowers, oil and co. and want more? How good that the CBD world of Tom Hemp’s can fulfill this longing. CBD Wax with its extremely high CBD content is one of the CBD products for advanced users.

What makes CBD Wax so special? What it has to offer? And how you can benefit the most from it? We at Tom Hemp’s have the answers to all your questions.

What is CBD Wax made of?

CBD Wax is a high-dose product made from cannabidiol, which is extracted from the hemp plant. The CBD content can be up to 90 percent, depending on the product. However, quite a bit of effort is required to extract CBD Wax. CBD Wax is a purely natural product, but it does not simply flow out of the hemp plant.

How is CBD Wax extracted?

Two different methods can be used for the extraction. On the one hand, solvent extraction is common, in which the CBD extract is separated from the remaining plant material by adding solvents. The solvents must then be filtered out again and the CBD extract thoroughly purified by distillation.

Instead, we at Tom Hemp’s rely on the much healthier method of CO² extraction to obtain CBD Wax. Here, the active ingredient is extracted from the plant material by carbon dioxide. The end result is pure, highly dosed CBD that is whipped into CBD Wax. The type of agitation ultimately determines the wax texture.

What are the different types of CBD Wax?

CBD wax can come in many different types. These can be distinguished mainly by their appearance and texture. Well-known and popular are for example the CBD Shatter, the CBD Budder, the CBD Crumble as well as CBD Live Resin.

What is CBD Shatter?

CBD Shatter has a very high CBD concentration thanks to multiple distillation and filtration. The CBD Wax is characterized by a compact texture that is easy to crumble. To vape the CBD Wax, for example, you can break it and heat it. This way, it quickly takes on a viscous form.

What is CBD Budder?

CBD Budder also has a very high CBD content. In its texture, however, CBD Budder differs greatly from CBD Shatter. The wax is much softer and thus naturally a bit more resinous.

What is CBD Crumble?

Similar to CBD Shatter, CBD Crumble also has a rather dry and crumbly texture. However, crumble is not just crumble. CBD Wax can be further divided into Wax Crumble and Sugar Crumble. The difference: Solid Wax Crumble can only be broken into large chunks, while Sugar Crumble disintegrates into fine powder.

What is CBD Live Resin?

Live Resin is a complex extraction method for obtaining CBD wax. Here, cryogenized CBD flowers are used, i.e. frozen plant material.

This should make it possible to extract an even broader spectrum of terpenes from the hemp plant. CBD Live Resin, as the special CBD wax is called, has particularly intense aromas and a slightly moist texture.

For which application is CBD Wax suitable?

CBD Wax is an interesting product, especially for experienced CBD fans. If you do not have any experience with CBD, you should first approach the high-dose CBD Wax step by step.

One way of using CBD Wax is vaporizing it in a vaporizer. Likewise, dabbing is gaining more and more popularity. In this case, the CBD concentrate is called dab and heated on a glass apparatus. It changes its shape and vapor is created.

How does vaping CBD Wax work?

Vaporizers have become as much a part of everyday life as conventional cigarettes. The devices for vape smoking are extremely handy and have a decisive advantage over the glow stick: you do not inhale nicotine, tar substances and carbon monoxide.

To vaporize CBD Wax, you need to insert it into the chamber of a suitable vaporizer. Or you can choose the more convenient option and use an already filled vape pen. This converts the CBD wax and its cannabinoids and terpenes into vapor, which you inhale through the mouthpiece.

What are the advantages of CBD Wax?

You have already learned about two crucial advantages of CBD Wax in the course of this article. Since CBD Wax is usually distilled and filtered several times, it is a particularly pure CBD product. Unwanted plant substances are not found in it, which has a positive effect on the level of CBD content.

Moreover, CBD Wax is easy to dose. You don’t have to mix it with any other substances, but you can indulge in it completely pure. If you decide to vape, you don’t have to worry about a penetrating smell.

Does CBD Wax have a THC content?

The goal in the production of CBD Wax is a maximally pure CBD product. Undesirable plant material, which includes THC, is split off. Accordingly, the THC content in CBD Wax is low. In the CBD products in our Tom Hemp’s store – whether wax, oil or body lotion – the THC content is always below 0.2 percent.

How is Wax different from other CBD products?

CBD Wax is a processed full-spectrum extract. Unlike some other CBD products on the market, you can assume that it contains valuable terpenes and flavonoids. Conversely, this means: maximum experience!

The fact that CBD Wax stands out from other CBD products is also easily recognizable by its consistency. The firm to waxy texture is unique. The same can be said about the golden yellow color of CBD Wax.

In addition, CBD Wax is characterized by a much higher CBD content. At our shop, for example, you can find CBD Wax with an impressive CBD content of 70 percent.

FAQ

How is CBD Wax made?

For the production of CBD Wax, the plant substance cannabidiol must first be extracted from the hemp plant. After multiple distillation and filtration, the highly dosed CBD is then beaten until it takes on the desired wax texture.

Is CBD Wax the same as CBD Oil?

No, CBD Wax and CBD Oil are two different products. Obtaining CBD Wax is more complex and requires stirring or whipping pure CBD extract.

What types of CBD Wax exist?

The most common types of CBD Wax include CBD Shatter, CBD Budder, CBD Crumble, and CBD Live Resin. These types can be distinguished mainly by their appearance and texture.

What kind of texture is CBD Wax?

The texture of CBD Wax depends on the type. For example, while CBD Shatter is very compact and easy to crumble, CBD Budder, on the other hand, has a much softer consistency, comparable to whipped butter.

What’s the difference between Wax and Crumble?

There is no difference between wax and crumble. Instead, crumble is a special type of CBD wax. Like other types, CBD crumble has a mostly dry and crumbly texture.
